DBL hits it out of the park harder than they ever have. This slab of orange plastic has nearly brought me to tears more times than I'd like to say. A nearly-all-encompassing overview of DBL's history (leaving out the S/T and the EPs Revolution Time and Punky Brewster), Quick Hits is packed with emotional moments to yell along with. The songs have matured wonderfully, and it's awesome to see a record pressed almost all the way to the label for once. kdnx
Another solid DBL release. I’ve been living with it for a while now and it’s still in heavy rotation.
The band list doesn’t say who played bass though. I assume Sam??? Dave
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
hardcore punk, jazz, alien themes, kind of all my jams wrapped into a tight package. Intense, freaky, lean runtime but feels dense especially being sectioned into essentially 4 parts. Easily one of the best punk records of the decade so far. Also that drumming...holy shit alienasu
